Clearvise, an independent power producer, has recently acquired a majority stake in a 33MW ready-to-build ground-mounted solar park in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The project was purchased from developers LNF Solar Development GmbH and Frank Menschel. Although the regional developers will remain involved in the facility, Clearvise aims to construct the solar park via a joint IPP company and operate it in the long term.
Petra Leue-Bahns, the Chief Executive of Clearvise, expressed her pleasure in securing the right partners for the implementation of their clearPARTNERS model. She said, “We have known each other for many years and have great respect for the competence and outstanding performance of our partners in project development. With this cooperation, we can successfully diversify the portfolio technologically towards solar photovoltaics in France as one of our most important core markets.”

The project has already received permission and construction is scheduled to begin in 2023. Due to the long delivery time for the transformer station, the grid connection is planned for the first half of 2024. Additionally, the developers have a development pipeline of approximately 100MW.
Clearvise and LNF Solar Development GmbH and Frank Menschel have concluded a cooperation agreement and intend to implement approved projects from this in the same structure. The parties are pursuing the goal of constructing the solar park via a joint IPP company and operating it in the long term. Clearvise's innovative co-development and co-IPP model, clearPARTNERS, focuses on fair, long-term cooperation with smaller regional developers, creating added value for all partners.
“With this cooperation, we have reached another milestone in our growth initiative clearSCALE 2025,” Leue-Bahns added.
The move comes as part of Clearvise's 3-C acquisition strategy, which aims to cover the needs of their target markets. This latest project shows the strategy's three pillars in practice, providing proof of concept for Clearvise.
