Singaporean distributed energy solutions provider BECIS Commercial Industrial Solutions Holding Pte Ltd (BECIS) has secured a USD 30 million (EUR 27.7 million) loan to support its bioenergy projects across Southeast Asia and India.
The financing, split evenly between infrastructure financing platform Clifford Capital and Pentagreen Capital, aims to fund 14 decentralized installations.
These projects will convert agricultural waste and other sustainably sourced feedstock into renewable steam at industrial sites across Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, and India. Once operational, these facilities are expected to reduce approximately 114,404 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
BECIS specializes in energy as a service (EaaS), offering solutions such as waste heat recovery, biogas and bioenergy systems, onsite solar installations, and energy analytics.
The company serves a diverse client base including global brands like Danone, Continental, Mercedes-Benz, Singapore Airlines Engineering, LG Electronics, Whirlpool, and Reckitt.
