Anma Offshore Wind Energy has chosen Ramboll, an engineering and advisory firm, to undertake detailed foundation design and certification for South Korea's inaugural utility-scale offshore wind project. The project, featuring 38 turbines of 14MW each, will utilize three-legged jackets with pre-installed pin-piles.
Ramboll's Global Executive Director for Wind, Tim Fischer, highlighted their expertise, stating, “With our impressive global track record in foundation design, particularly in jacket foundations engineering, we convinced Anma Offshore Wind Energy that Ramboll is the ideal partner for this project.”
Ramboll, which recently established an office in Seoul, aims to support South Korea's green energy goals through collaboration between its local team and international specialists. Anma Offshore Wind Energy's EPC Director, Iulian Vranceanu, emphasized the significance of the partnership with Ramboll in advancing the project's foundation design phase.
