Vestas has inked a significant deal with SAB WindTeam to supply turbines for the Ahlum-Dettum wind energy project in Lower Saxony, Germany. The order, totaling 114MW, will see Vestas deliver a combination of 17 V162-6.2MW and two V136-4.2MW wind turbines, encompassing supply, delivery, and commissioning services.
Upon completion, Vestas will manage turbine operations under a comprehensive 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring peak performance and longevity of the assets.

Turbine delivery is slated to commence in the second quarter of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of the same year.
