Sonnedix Secures 1.4GW Solar Equipment Boost with Chinese Partnerships

has solidified its commitment to expanding global capacity by signing framework agreements with two leading Chinese manufacturers. These agreements are aimed at swiftly supplying equipment necessary for Sonnedix's ambitious 6GW global pipeline of solar projects.

Under the first agreement, Sonnedix will procure 750MWp of PV Modules from , a renowned global manufacturer operating in 140 countries. The second contract, with , involves the supply of 625MW of inverters and MV stations, crucial components for efficient solar energy systems.

According to Sonnedix, these partnerships will streamline procurement processes significantly, enabling faster project delivery crucial for advancing the global energy transition. , CEO of Sonnedix, highlighted the strategic importance of these agreements, stating, “The two agreements signed today with Astronergy and Sungrow demonstrate our strategy in action. They will be key to securing important equipment to accelerate the delivery of our 6GW development pipeline.”

Thiemann emphasized the role of collaboration in achieving sustainable energy goals, noting, “The energy transition will not be possible without collaboration across the industry.”

The agreements were formalized at the Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich, Germany, underscoring Sonnedix's proactive approach in forging long-term partnerships. Astronergy's Chief Marketing Officer, Samuel Zhang, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, affirming, “We are thrilled to partner with Sonnedix in this significant venture. This agreement showcases our mutual commitment to accelerating the global energy transition.”

Similarly, Sungrow Europe's Vice President, Javier Izcue, emphasized their alignment with Sonnedix's sustainability goals, stating, “We are delighted for this important agreement with Sonnedix. This partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to providing superior PV solutions globally.”
