The initiative involves replacing 17 outdated Sudwind S70 turbines, originally installed 22 years ago, with Nordex's advanced 6.8MW turbines. These new units, boasting a hub height of 164 meters, promise significantly higher annual yields and enhanced efficiency compared to their predecessors.

Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central at Nordex, expressed enthusiasm about the project's impact: “The new 6.8MW turbines are very efficient and offer a much higher annual yield than the old turbines.
