Nexans has introduced a cutting-edge range of power cables tailored for engineering, procurement, and construction firms (EPCs) and solar panel installers, aimed at optimizing the connection between solar panels and inverters.
The new ENERGYFLEX wires incorporate state-of-the-art technical specifications, positioning them at the forefront of the market, according to Nexans. The company emphasized that these specifications distinguish the cables from existing offerings in terms of performance and reliability.
Highlighting the product's robustness, Nexans noted, “The 30-year warranty provided by the company also delivers real benefits for customers, underlining the reliability of the Group's products.”
Among the new cable ranges, one achieves an enhanced fire safety rating with B2ca s1 d2 a1 certification. This rating restricts the spread of fire to a height of 1.5 meters, a significant improvement over standard wires that would burn completely in such conditions.
The second range of cables meets rigorous standards for water resistance, making them ideal for use in submerged conditions. Nexans highlighted their suitability for enhancing the reliability of floating solar installations, emphasizing their versatility for solar panel farms on land, rooftops, open seas, or lakes.
