Among the new cable ranges, one achieves an enhanced fire safety rating with B2ca s1 d2 a1 certification. This rating restricts the spread of fire to a height of 1.5 meters, a significant improvement over standard wires that would burn completely in such conditions.
The second range of cables meets rigorous standards for water resistance, making them ideal for use in submerged conditions. Nexans highlighted their suitability for enhancing the reliability of floating solar installations, emphasizing their versatility for solar panel farms on land, rooftops, open seas, or lakes.
