Adapture Renewables Secures Off-Taker for 67 MWp Solar Project in Texas

Inc, a US utility-scale and storage developer, announced today it has secured an unnamed off-taker for its upcoming 67 MWp solar project in Hunt County, , slated to become operational later this year.

According to a press statement, a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) has been inked with “a confidential Fortune 50 company” for 120 GWh of clean electricity annually. This amount is sufficient to power 12,500 homes per year.

, vice president of origination at Adapture Renewables, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “This partnership adds to our growing portfolio of dependable long-term agreements with corporate energy buyers, datacentre operators, e-fuels companies, utilities, and electric cooperatives to procure cost-effective clean energy products.”

The VPPA announcement follows Adapture Renewables' recent commitment in December to three environmental attributes purchase agreements with Meta Platforms Inc, encompassing 330 MW of solar generation across and Arkansas.
