NTR Expands European Renewable Portfolio with 269MW Wind and Solar Capacity

NTR has successfully commenced operations at eight new sites across Ireland, the UK, France, Spain, and , adding a combined 269MW of wind and capacity to its portfolio.

Rosheen McGuckian, Chief Executive of NTR, commented on the achievement, stating, “Reaching energisation across these eight sites is a great landmark when considering the complexity of achieving this across five countries. I am immensely proud and grateful to everyone who contributed to achieving this milestone.”

The operational sites include Murley Wind Farm in County Tyrone, , with a capacity of 21.6MW and a purchase agreement with Almac Group. In England, the 58.8MW Ockendon solar project, located on a sealed landfill site in Essex, is now fully energised, maximizing land use efficiency.

In Ireland, the Gorey solar farm and Macallian PV array in Wexford collectively contribute 22.1MW of capacity, with a with AIB Group. The of Finnish wind farm Pajuperankangas has added 86.8MW of clean energy capacity to NTR's portfolio.

In France, NTR has energised the Ferme Eolienne Cruscades and Canet wind farms near Narbonne, boasting a combined capacity of 13.4MW. In Spain, the 45.72MW Colomera and Pinos solar farm in Granada, with a power purchase agreement with Huhtamaki, and the 20.7MW Poblete solar farm in Castile-La Mancha, with a deal with Holaluz, have also commenced operations.
