, the energy transition fund, has announced a strategic investment in Arcadia eFuels' cutting-edge green -based production facility in Vordingborg, Denmark. This groundbreaking development is set to transform the landscape of sustainable aviation fuel production.

From mid-2026, the facility is projected to churn out an impressive annual output of approximately 68,000 tonnes of climate-neutral synthetic aviation fuel (eSAF). What sets this endeavor apart is its utilization of self-produced green hydrogen, aligning seamlessly with the 's recent decision to introduce mandatory quotas for sustainable aviation fuel.

Arcadia eFuels' ambitious endeavor aims to capture the attention of institutional investors through KGAL's ESPF 6 fund. This dedicated energy transition fund specializes in new hydrogen infrastructure projects within the European Union and the United Kingdom.

KGAL ESPF 6 doesn't stop here. It boasts an extensive portfolio of 30 green hydrogen and energy transition developments in the pipeline, two of which are currently in advanced negotiations.

Michael Ebner, Managing Director of KGAL Investment , emphasized the broad spectrum of applications for green hydrogen. “From aviation and logistics to the steel and chemical industries, from water treatment to agriculture – almost anywhere that direct decarbonization through green power reaches its limits, green hydrogen can be the solution,” said Ebner. The potential for this renewable energy source is nothing short of extraordinary.

Straits Research, a respected industry analyst, forecasts an impressive 55% annual growth rate for the green hydrogen market in up to 2030.
