Suzlon Group, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, has secured a significant contract for its latest 3MW series of wind turbines. The order comes from Torrent Power, a major Indian utility company, for a large-scale wind power project in India with a total capacity of 300MW.
Under the agreement, Suzlon will oversee the installation of 100 wind turbines, each boasting a rated capacity of 3MW. These turbines will feature the innovative Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower design, known for its enhanced performance and efficiency.
The scope of Suzlon's involvement extends beyond equipment supply. In addition to providing the wind turbines, the company will also handle the supply of land and undertake the complete execution of the project, including the crucial stages of erection and commissioning. Furthermore, Suzlon has committed to offering comprehensive operations and maintenance services once the project is operational, ensuring its long-term success.
