DEME Offshore, a leading global solutions provider in the offshore energy industry, has announced that it has secured three new contracts for the 500MW Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm in France. The contracts involve the transport and installation of the foundations for the turbines, as well as the offshore substation and inter-array cables.
“We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts for the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm,” said Bart De Poorter, General Manager of DEME Offshore. “It demonstrates our position as a leading EPCI contractor in the industry and our ability to provide innovative solutions for complex offshore wind projects.”
The first contract involves the transport and installation of the pin-piles and jackets that will form the foundations for the turbines. The second contract includes the transport and installation of the pin-piles, jacket, and topside for the offshore substation. Lastly, DEME Offshore will carry out the EPCI scope for 120km of inter-array cables.
“We are proud to be working with the consortium that owns the Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm,” said De Poorter. “This project is a significant milestone for DEME Offshore, as it marks our third large-scale offshore wind farm project in France.”
The Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm is owned by a consortium made up of Ocean Winds (Engie-EDPR), Sumitomo Corporation, and Banque des Territoires. The project is located off the coast of Normandy, and once completed, it will provide enough renewable energy to power 500,000 homes.
“We are committed to supporting the energy transition in France and across the globe,” said De Poorter. “These contracts allow us to showcase our expertise in offshore wind and our ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.”

This project builds on DEME Offshore's extensive experience in the offshore wind industry, including its groundbreaking solutions deployed at the Saint-Nazaire wind farm and the recent contract award for the Iles d'Yeu and Noirmoutier site.
“As the demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we are proud to be at the forefront of this industry,” said De Poorter. “We look forward to working with our partners to successfully deliver the Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm and help create a more sustainable future for us all.”
