Integrated Wind Solutions, a Norwegian company, has launched an offshore wind foundations and substations operations and maintenance (O&M) concept through its subsidiaries ProCon Wind Energy, IWS Services, and IWS Fleet. The service aims to offer significant cost savings through a single customer interface, all-in-one maintenance vessels, and in-house competencies.
The new O&M plan will utilize customized hybrid vessels, fitted with a gangway system for safe and easy access to offshore foundations, and a well-equipped team of specialized technicians with the necessary maintenance skills. The concept is underpinned by ProCon's project management expertise over 50 offshore projects and IWS Services' know-how in supply chain and project optimization.

The companies in the Scandinavian cooperation are already providing design, engineering, assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and vessel services for offshore projects, including the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm. The new O&M one-stop-shop will bring together all these applied experiences into one package, creating a comprehensive service package that will be demonstrated to offshore wind farm operators.
The cooperation is majority-owned by Norway's Integrated Wind Solutions, with each company contributing their accumulated O&M expertise. The new concept aligns with the company's strategy to offer efficient services to the offshore wind industry. According to Christopher Andersen Heidenreich, COO of Integrated Wind Solutions, the O&M concept was developed using the joint expertise of Denmark's ProCon and IWS Services and Norway's IWS Fleet.
