CSBC-Deme Wind Engineering (CDWE) has been awarded a contract by (CIP) to install foundations at the Fengmiao 1 wind project, marking the first Foundation T&I contract signed in Taiwan's offshore wind 3.1 zonal development, the company announced.

The 500MW Fengmiao 1 offshore wind farm is part of CIP Taiwan Round 3 Projects, with CDWE leveraging its heavy lift marine installation GreenJade for the foundation installation work. This follows their successful collaboration on the Changfang & Xidao project and the Zhong Neng project.

“The agreement underscores our commitment to Taiwan's offshore wind sector,” stated a CDWE spokesperson. “We are proud to continue our partnership with CIP and contribute to the successful deployment of the Fengmiao wind farm, scheduled to be operational by 2027.”

The project marks a significant step towards Taiwan's renewable energy goals and reinforces CDWE's position in the offshore wind market, aiming to enhance sustainable energy production in the region.
