Cadeler Launches First M-Class Wind Installation Vessel in South Korea

's inaugural M-class newbuild, Wind Maker, has been successfully launched from Hanwha Ocean Ship Yard in South . The is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2025 and will embark directly on its maiden wind turbine installation project for 's Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan.

Cadeler expressed pride in delivering another cutting-edge wind installation vessel to the offshore wind market, emphasizing its capability to install the next generation of turbines. The company underscored the importance of partnership success in advancing offshore wind energy expansion and readiness to meet the growing market demand.

Following the launch, the shipyard will proceed with commissioning, testing, and sea trials to ensure the vessel's readiness for operational deployment.
