Wind turbine maintenance group Full Circle has inked a new long-term, full-scope maintenance agreement with onshore wind developer Equitix. The contract will encompass all four Enercon E-70, 2.3MW turbines at the Wern Ddu wind farm in Denbighshire, North Wales, boasting a total capacity of 9.2MW.
With the turbines on site being 14 years old, the contract is already underway, leveraging an existing Full Circle service team operational in the North Wales region. As part of its commitment to providing dedicated support, Full Circle plans to actively recruit locally near the Wern Ddu site to ensure rapid assistance for its portfolio across various locations as it expands its multi-brand offering throughout the UK and globally.
Craig Jones, sales manager at Full Circle, expressed satisfaction at the continuation of their partnership with Equitix in a new capacity, highlighting the quality of the multi-brand monitoring and maintenance service provided by Full Circle. Jones stated, “We are very pleased that Equitix has recognized the value of our ongoing working relationship, and we look forward to ensuring the smooth operation of their wind farm at Wern Ddu in North Wales.”
Equitix's associate director, Edmund Andrew, commended Full Circle for its holistic O&M offering, emphasizing the company's skilled service teams and flexible approach in accessing the remote site at Wern Ddu for rapid maintenance support.
