In a bid to accelerate its renewable energy agenda, the government of Brazil's Piaui state has sealed two landmark agreements with international firms.
Governor Rafael Fonteles signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with French, Spanish, and German companies during the 4th Piaui-Europe Green Hydrogen Summit held in Rotterdam.
Under these agreements, French hydrogen energy leader HDF Energy will collaborate directly with the state government, while Spanish firm H2Greem Global Solutions and German company Som Solar Outdoor Media will team up to develop solar energy technologies alongside green hydrogen initiatives.
