Renewable Energy Systems (RES) has been chosen by Repsol to deliver operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Frye Solar facility in Kress, Texas, marking a significant collaboration in the renewable energy sector. With a focus on maximizing performance, RES will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, remote monitoring, reporting, and vegetation upkeep at the 637 MWdc solar project.
In expressing the strategic importance of the partnership, Terry Oswald, Vice President of Operations and Maintenance at Repsol Renewables North America (RRNA), stated, “By teaming with RES on this comprehensive O&M agreement, Repsol Renewables North America will ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability, and performance at our largest utility-scale solar site to date.”
Leveraging its extensive experience across the solar project lifecycle, RES aims to identify opportunities for enhancing the Frye facility's performance.
