Sonnenkraft Introduces “Terracotta” Solar Panels for Seamless Integration with Traditional Roofs

Austrian manufacturer has unveiled its latest offering, the “Terracotta” , aimed at providing a harmonious blend of tradition and technology in architectural settings. These panels are designed to complement red-tiled roofs, offering an alternative for those seeking both aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency.

Peter Prasser, Managing Director of Sonnenkraft, highlighted the company's objective: “With our new solar module ‘Terracotta,' produced in , we aim to promote the compatibility of monument preservation and sustainable energy production.”

The 400W double-glass solar panels feature red frames and hold general building approval from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). Utilizing TopCon solar cells, they boast a power conversion efficiency of 20.02%, aligning with industry standards.

Prasser further noted, “The terracotta module caters to customers with red-tiled roofs and contributes to local value addition.”
