In a strategic move toward bolstering sustainable investing solutions, UBS Asset Management has inked a significant agreement with Habitat Energy, a leading optimization service provider. The deal entails the optimization of 730MW of battery storage assets situated in Texas, United States.
Scheduled for commercial operations from August to December of this year, the four standalone projects are poised to inject invaluable flexibility into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) grid, enhancing its resilience and efficiency.
According to Habitat Energy US managing director Michael Kirschner, the partnership signifies a pivotal juncture for both entities.
