GAF Energy, a provider of solar roofing solutions, celebrated the grand opening of its new 450,000-square-foot Timberline Solar™ manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Texas. The event, attended by community and company leaders, marked a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to meet the increasing demand for its solar roof product, Timberline Solar.
The opening ceremony brought together key figures, including Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder, State Representative Caroline Harris Davila, and leaders from GAF Energy and Standard Industries, to officially inaugurate the facility.

Mayor Schroeder also expressed excitement about GAF Energy's presence in Georgetown, highlighting the positive impact the project will have on the community. “What is equally as exciting is the impact this project will have on our community through the creation of high-paying jobs for Georgetown residents and the creation of new career opportunities in advanced manufacturing and clean energy for students in Georgetown ISD. The new manufacturing facility represents a significant expansion for GAF Energy, increasing its capacity by 500% and bringing total production of its solar shingle to 300 megawatts annually. This milestone solidifies GAF Energy's position as the largest producer of solar roofing in the world, further enhancing its reputation for delivering a best-in-class solar roof product that is assembled in America.
