Soltec Secures Major Solar Tracker Order for 200 MW Project in Spain

Power Holdings SA, a Spanish energy specialist, announced on Tuesday that it has clinched a substantial order to supply 200 megawatts (MW) of its cutting-edge solar trackers to a client in .

The order was placed by Spanish engineering and consulting services firm Grupotec Servicios Avanzados SA, marking a significant milestone for Soltec. The solar trackers will be utilized in five distinct projects situated in the province of Almeria, nestled within Spain's picturesque Andalusia region.

According to Soltec's press release, these five projects will collectively form a large-scale solar farm, featuring over 347,240 solar panels. Soltec is set to deliver a total of 4,501 two-in-vertical (2P) solar trackers from its SF7 series, showcasing the company's commitment to delivering innovative and efficient solar solutions.

Upon completion, the solar farm is poised to emerge as a robust renewable energy asset, capable of generating electricity to power more than 114,000 households. Soltec's advanced solar tracking technology will play a pivotal role in maximizing the solar farm's energy production potential, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
