Renewable energy solutions provider Group has secured another order from Lithuania's . The contract calls for the delivery of eleven Delta4000 series turbines, specifically the N163/5.X model, to the ‘Jurbarkas II' project in the southwest of the country. The turbines, which will sit on 159-metre towers, will have a combined capacity of 5.7 MW.

The wind farm will be built near the town of Jurbarkas, an agricultural region around 50 km from the , known for its average wind speeds of more than 7 m/sec. Nordex's premium service contract for the maintenance of the turbines will extend for 25 years following installation in 2024.

The ‘Jurbarkas II' project marks Nordex's return to the Lithuanian market after its initial entry in 2015, when it installed eight N117/3000 turbines at the first ‘Jurbarkas' wind farm in the same region. The proximity of the two wind farms will allow Nordex to service the turbines of ‘Jurbarkas II' from the same service point set up after the first installation.

The Delta4000 series turbines are a popular choice for projects due to their excellent energy yield and low noise emission, making them ideal for deployment in agricultural regions. Nordex's continued expansion in Lithuania underscores its commitment to providing clean energy solutions to countries across the globe.
