Array Technologies is hosting a groundbreaking event today for its latest endeavor, a state-of-the-art manufacturing campus in New Mexico, attended by US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.
The new facility, spanning 216,000 square feet (20,077 sq m) and valued at over USD 50 million (EUR 46.7m), is situated in Bernalillo County on Albuquerque's west side and is anticipated to create over 300 job opportunities in the immediate future.
Array Technologies initially unveiled plans for the manufacturing campus in November 2023, with the investment facilitated by the Inflation Reduction Act's production tax credit.
Abigail Ross Hopper, president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), underscored the significance of Array's expansion project, stating, “This announcement from Array is an example of how smart federal policies can directly benefit states and localities with jobs and economic growth.”
