Commerz Real AG has announced the appointment of Michael Henn as the new global head of green deal infrastructure, effective May 1st, ushering in a new era of leadership in the realm of renewable energies and infrastructure investments.
In his new role, Henn will spearhead the transaction and acquisition business, oversee project developments, and manage assets within the renewable energies and infrastructure investment domain.
Dr. Nicole Arnold, Member of the Management Board of Commerz Real, praised Henn's leadership prowess and extensive expertise in transactions and project development, stating, “Michael Henn is an accomplished leader and has extensive transactional and project development expertise.” Arnold underscored the company's commitment to expanding its renewables business under Henn's stewardship.
Arnold outlined the strategic priorities under Henn's leadership, emphasizing a focus on implementing project development strategies in the renewables sector and further integrating renewable energies with sustainable real estate projects.
With a wealth of experience in the investment industry, Henn has led specialized transaction and project development teams for numerous years, bringing a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining Commerz Real, the 47-year-old executive held key leadership positions, including head of transactions and commercial executive board at Gerchgroup AG, and chief executive of Immobel Germany GmbH.
