NHOA Energy has successfully commissioned a 120 megawatt hour energy storage system for Taiwan Cement Group (TCC Group) at its SuAo plant in Yilan County. The system is part of NHOA Energy's portfolio of over 550MWh of systems in operation in the Asia-Pacific region.
The SuAo energy storage system meets the E-dReg (Enhanced Dynamic Regulation) service requirements set by Taiwan Power Corporation, the grid operator, and supports industrial behind-the-meter peak shaving for onsite electricity consumption.
Lucie Kanius-Dujardin, Executive Vice President Global Markets of NHOA Energy, commented on the commissioning of the project, stating, “The commissioning of the over 120MWh project at the SuAo plant for TCC Group represents another key step on NHOA Energy's growth path in Asia. With over 550MWh currently online, NHOA Energy solidifies its position at the forefront of the energy transition in the region and globally.”
