Renewable energy asset manager CEE Group and financing partner DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing have announced the start of construction on an 80.9 MWp solar park in Brandenburg, Germany.
The project, acquired from developer Chint Solar, is located in Stuedenitz Schoenermark, approximately 85 kilometers northwest of Berlin. Upon completion, the solar park will comprise around 130,000 solar modules and is expected to be operational by the end of 2024. It is projected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 30,000 households.
DAL is financing the solar park through a savings bank consortium consisting of Sparkasse Oberhessen and Sparkasse Marburg-Biedenkopf, along with long-term funding from German development bank KfW.
CEE Group manages approximately EUR 2.6 billion in assets across Europe, including a portfolio of 54 solar projects with a combined capacity of 1.2 GWp and 47 onshore wind farms totaling 700 MW.
