Japanese electric utility J-POWER has announced the commencement of construction for a 1.99-MW solar power plant in Hyogo prefecture. The project, named the Himeji Oshio Solar Power Station, is being developed by J-POWER's wholly owned subsidiary, J-Solar Co Ltd. Commercial operations for the Himeji Oshio Solar Power Station are scheduled to begin in October 2024.
