TotalEnergies has bolstered its renewable energy footprint with the acquisition of the 59MW Dehesa Nueva del Rey solar park in Spain from developer Synergia, the company announced on Thursday.
Once operational, the Dehesa Nueva del Rey solar park, adorned with more than 95,000 photovoltaic panels, is poised to generate sufficient electricity to fulfill the annual consumption needs of over 33,000 homes, underscoring TotalEnergies' commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

This strategic acquisition aligns seamlessly with TotalEnergies' ambitious renewable energy agenda, complementing its existing portfolio of solar projects across Madrid, Murcia, Andalusia, Aragon, and Castilla La Mancha, totaling 3GW with environmental permits.
