EnBW, one of Germany's leading energy companies, has inaugurated its Lentföhrden wind farm, heralding a significant milestone in the nation's renewable energy agenda, the company announced on Wednesday.
The Lentföhrden wind farm comprises five Nordex N133 wind turbines towering at approximately 190 meters each, boasting an impressive output of 4.8MW per turbine. Nestled in the municipalities of Lentföhrden and Weddelbrook, within the Segeberg district of Schleswig-Holstein, the project underscores EnBW's commitment to bolstering Germany's renewable energy infrastructure.
These turbines are anticipated to provide clean, green electricity to approximately 14,000 two-person households in the future, significantly contributing to Germany's sustainable energy goals.
