PNE Group Surpasses Milestone with Over 100 Renewable Energy Projects Signed to PPA Consulting Programme

Group has achieved a significant milestone by enrolling more than 100 wind and project companies into its Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) consulting programme. In 2023 alone, the PNE PPA team facilitated agreements for 39 wind and PV ventures, totaling over 337MW of output. This brings the total number of supported renewable energy projects to 107.

As a PPA broker, PNE assists plant operators in finding suitable marketing solutions, negotiating contracts, and implementing agreement terms. This service has attracted a diverse range of buyers, including large-scale European traders and industrial customers seeking green direct supply options to align with their sustainability strategies.

Nils Kompe, Head of Energy Supply Services and PPA at PNE, commented on the company's success: “With its successful PPA deals, the PNE Group is securing its leading role as a consultant and broker for PPAs. Further negotiations are underway, with anticipated brokered energy volume reaching up to 3TWh by the year's end.”
