Brazil inaugurated 621.56 MW of new renewable energy installations in January 2024, encompassing wind, solar, and hydropower capacities, according to the announcement made by the country's power sector regulator, Aneel, on Monday. The largest contribution came from wind power, with 422.20 MW of new capacity added last month, followed by solar power at 198.12 MW.
