The demand for electrical energy in Spain saw a 1.1% increase in January, according to official data. Renewables played a significant role, generating 52.1% of the total electricity, reaching 12,202 GWh. Notably, wind power emerged as the leading source of generation for the fourth consecutive month, contributing 24.6% to the overall electricity production for January.
