GRS's Operation and Maintenance (O&M) division has secured the extension of contracts with Balam Fund for the Camargo, Energia Limpia de La Laguna, and Salsipuedes solar farms in Mexico.
The renewed agreement spans until December 2025, affording GRS an additional two years to execute critical O&M tasks, ensuring peak performance and sustained operational integrity for the trio of solar plants.
A proud subsidiary of the Gransolar Group, GRS O&M will persist in its role of maintaining these pivotal installations, boasting a collective capacity of around 110MW, for the upcoming two years. With the contract renewal, GRS O&M's global portfolio now encompasses over 1620MW of photovoltaic plants, with 110MW strategically located in Latin America.
Highlighting the significance of these projects, the Camargo PV plant (35MW) serves as the inaugural venture among the five projects undertaken by GRS in Mexico. Subsequent installations, including Energia Limpia de La Laguna (35.48MW) and Salsipuedes (40MW), further solidify GRS's imprint in the Mexican solar sector.
In the words of Jesus Aguilar, Director of GRS O&M, “We are living a key stage in O&M, favoured by the exponential growth of plants built around the world, together with the renovations of plants already in operation since the beginning, and that leads us to continue putting all our efforts into offering added value and guarantees of success to our customers.” Aguilar's statement underscores the company's dedication to delivering value and ensuring client success amidst the ongoing expansion and rejuvenation of operational solar facilities globally.
