Shanghai Electric played a pivotal role in the project, providing a comprehensive suite of energy storage system solutions, including 38 battery containers and 20 PCS containers. The BESS is outfitted with high-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries produced by Gotion New Energy's Nantong factory.
Fiskerton II-A, located in Lincolnshire, marks the culmination of Shanghai Electric's contribution to a series of eight solar projects in the UK. Notably, this comprehensive solar portfolio, the first overseas endeavor for the Chinese firm, is characterized by Shanghai Electric's involvement across the investment, financing, construction, grid connection, and operational phases. The combined solar projects are anticipated to generate an annual output of 128,117 MWh of green electricity.
