French independent green energy operator Valorem has achieved Environmental Terms Approval (ETA) from the Greek Ministry of Energy and Environment for seven solar projects totaling 300MW in Thessaly. These projects are part of a larger-scale solar photovoltaic initiative spanning 362 hectares, with a combined capacity of 360MW in the Larissa region.
The Farsala solar energy complex, comprising 11 photovoltaic solar projects, is set to provide 550GWh of clean energy, meeting the needs of approximately 40,000 households. Each PV project will transfer electricity through underground medium voltage lines to a new environmentally permitted substation proposed by Valorem in Skotoussa, Farsala Municipality.
