Investment platform Qualitas Energy has reached an agreement to sell its German wind energy portfolio to NeXtWind. This strategic move follows the collaborative efforts of both entities in the early stages of the 112.5MW portfolio, with NeXtWind taking the reins to bring the late-stage onshore wind projects to completion.
The German wind energy portfolio spans multiple locations throughout the country, and upon the conclusion of the repowering process, the portfolio's capacity is projected to surge to around 300MW.

Qualitas Energy has played a pivotal role in advancing the development of repowering projects, with several projects successfully navigating the approval process and poised to enter the construction phase.
Borja Caruana, Managing Director of Qualitas Energy Deutschland, expressed the primary objective of leveraging workforce capacities to enhance the project pipeline by acquiring and developing new wind energy projects.
