Independent green power producer GoldenPeaks Capital has completed the acquisition of 283 MW of shovel-ready photovoltaic (PV) projects in Poland, with plans to add an additional 150 MW to its portfolio by the end of the year.
These latest additions, predominantly located in western and northwestern regions of Poland, were finalized during the current quarter, aligning with GoldenPeaks' ambitious goal of reaching 1 GW of solar PV capacity in Poland by the next year.

The newly-acquired sites have various capacities, with most ranging up to 10 MW. GoldenPeaks Capital aims to strengthen its position as one of the largest PV system owners and power generators in Poland and Hungary through these strategic acquisitions.
The company had previously purchased a 58 MW portfolio of ready-to-build solar projects in Poland earlier this year from PV project developer and operator Emeren Group.

GoldenPeaks President Daniel Tain highlighted the significance of these acquisitions, stating, “When added to our existing pipeline, these assets establish an even firmer base from which to execute our 1-GW Polish construction pipeline as per 2024.” Beyond solar, GoldenPeaks Capital is actively engaged in the wind and energy storage industries, contributing to its comprehensive approach to green energy development.
