Adapture Renewables Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of 333 MW Solar Projects

Inc, a US utility-scale developer and operator, has completed the of three solar projects with a combined capacity of 333 MW AC/450 MW DC in Illinois and Arkansas from TED Renewables.

The projects, currently in the pre-Notice to Proceed stage, are anticipated to come online in 2025 and 2026, significantly increasing Adapture Renewables' operating assets to around 800 MW DC.

The seller, TED Renewables, a subsidiary of developer Tyr Energy Inc, has been developing the projects over the past five years.

Adapture Renewables, owned by KIRKBI, the private holding and investment company of the Kirk Kristiansen family, aims to further its mission of expanding clean energy solutions and promoting sustainability in the power generation sector with these acquisitions, according to Christina Conrad, Senior Director of M&A at Adapture Renewables.
