German project developer Energiequelle GmbH has announced the inauguration of its second office in Finland, situated in the city of Vaasa on the country's west coast. This expansion marks the 24th location in Energiequelle's growing footprint and is part of the company's strategic commitment to bolster its presence in the Finnish market.
With four employees already in place and additional staff slated to be hired, the new Vaasa office complements Energiequelle's initial presence in Helsinki, established in 2016. The company currently manages a pipeline of approximately 200 wind turbines at various stages of development, reflecting its ambitious plan for around 2,500 MW of renewable energy projects across Finland.
Energiequelle has successfully completed four wind farms in Finland and is on track to finalize its fifth project, the Lumivaara site in the municipality of Hyrynsalmi, Kainuu region, by the end of the year. Simultaneously, the company's sixth project, Mikonkeidas, is currently under construction.
Active in Germany, France, Finland, and Poland, Energiequelle expressed its intention for further market entries and new office openings in the coming months, underscoring its commitment to expanding its international presence.
