TotalEnergies has successfully acquired Nash Renewables, a software start-up hailing from Germany and one of the three innovative companies nurtured under the TotalEnergies On acceleration programme. Nash Renewables specializes in software that optimizes the design and operational parameters of renewable projects, adopting a design-to-value methodology.
The acquired software allows developers to streamline the configuration of new projects in less than a minute, providing instant simulations of asset-specific forecasts and offering an integrated perspective on wind and solar production. One of the key features of Nash Renewables' platform is its ability to consider the impact of geographical specificities on market prices, thereby enhancing TotalEnergies' capacity to improve the profitability of its renewable projects.
Stéphane Michel, President, Gas Renewables & Power at TotalEnergies, expressed satisfaction with the acquisitions, stating, “We are delighted with the acquisition of Dsflow, Nash Renewables, and Predictive Layer, and we welcome their teams to TotalEnergies. We are also pleased with our partnership with Time2plug. All these solutions will enable us to improve our B2B offers, the development of our renewable projects, our market analyses, and the deployment of EV charging points.”
The acquisition of Nash Renewables aligns with TotalEnergies' commitment to advancing technological solutions that enhance the efficiency and profitability of its renewable energy portfolio. The incorporation of Nash Renewables' software is poised to contribute to TotalEnergies' broader strategy of optimizing renewable project development and reinforcing its position as a key player in the evolving energy landscape.
