Wind turbine manufacturer CS Wind has successfully concluded the acquisition of Bladt Industries, marking a significant step toward integrating the Danish company into the CS Wind family. Joseph Oh, with 14 years of experience at CS Wind, assumes the role of chief executive, succeeding Michael Glavind, who held the position since April 2023. Henrik Olesen, a seasoned executive with experience at Vestas and Danfoss, joins as co-chief executive.
The acquisition, announced on July 10, 2023, is expected to enhance CS Wind's global presence and supply chain capabilities. One of the immediate priorities post-acquisition is the development and strengthening of key production sites in Denmark, specifically at Lindo and Aalborg. This strategic move aims to ensure the company's ability to meet the growing demand in the global wind power industry, necessitating the recruitment of skilled labor.

Existing employee-elected board members, Kristian Kærsgaard, Louise Vinter Barslund, and Claus Lund Uhrenholt, will continue in the new board of directors.
