CS Wind Completes Acquisition of Bladt Industries, Announces New Leadership

Joseph Oh, with 14 years of experience at CS Wind, assumes the role of chief executive, succeeding Michael Glavind, who held the position since April 2023. Henrik Olesen, a seasoned executive with experience at and Danfoss, joins as co-chief executive.

The acquisition, announced on July 10, 2023, is expected to enhance CS Wind's global presence and supply chain capabilities. One of the immediate priorities post-acquisition is the development and strengthening of key production sites in , specifically at Lindo and Aalborg. This strategic move aims to ensure the company's ability to meet the growing demand in the global wind power industry, necessitating the recruitment of skilled labor.

CS Wind Chairman Seong-Gon Gim emphasized the goal of integrating Bladt's expertise into the CS Wind family to optimize production facilities and enhance efficiency. The company envisions leveraging Bladt's valuable production traditions to drive global expansion, boost sales, and contribute to the green transition.

With the acquisition's completion, the former board has stepped down, and a new board has been appointed, featuring Chairman Seong-Gon Gim, Knud Bjarne Hansen, Henrik Olesen, and Kyoo Deuk Hwang. Existing employee-elected board members, Kristian Kærsgaard, Louise Vinter Barslund, and Claus Lund Uhrenholt, will continue in the new board of directors.
