Encavis AG's asset management division has successfully divested a 93-MW portfolio of wind and solar parks across multiple European countries on behalf of an institutional investor. The parent company made the announcement on Wednesday, refraining from disclosing financial specifics of the transaction.
The portfolio in question encompasses nine wind farms with a collective capacity of 76 MW and two solar parks totaling 17 MW. Geographically diverse, five of the wind farms are situated in France, two in Germany, and the remaining two in Sweden and the UK. The solar parks are located in France and Italy.
Encavis Asset Management, the entity responsible for managing these assets, played a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of the market environment. Karsten Mieth, spokesperson for Encavis Asset Management's management board, emphasized the significance of their services in international tenders and their adept handling of interest from various institutional investors.
This strategic move follows Encavis' recent acquisition, where its asset management branch secured a 31-MW agrivoltaic park in the Netherlands for the Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II), marketed through BayernLB.
