Constructed for Sojitz Corporation and Eneos, the solar plant's inauguration event drew significant institutional representation, with the regional Minister for Trade and Investment, Cameron Dick, leading the attendees, signaling governmental support for the advancement of green energy initiatives in Queensland.
Situated in Chinchilla, approximately 300 km from Brisbane, the Edenvale Solar Park represents a key milestone in Gransolar's successful ventures in Australia. The inauguration ceremony featured Jordi Vega, Chief Operating Officer of Gransolar, highlighting the collaborative synergies within the group's business units, including ISE, GRS, and PVH. Vega emphasized the significance of such contributions to the ongoing decarbonization efforts in Queensland, an environmentally conscious region.
GRS, operating across all five continents, has achieved a noteworthy milestone of 2.5GW of installed capacity worldwide, with an additional 3.5GW under development.
