UKA Expands Partnership with Nordex, Eyes 1,000 MW in Wind Turbine Orders by 2025

group has prolonged its existing framework agreement with wind turbine manufacturer , intending to secure binding orders for up to 1,000 MW by the close of 2025, as announced on Thursday.

The extension underscores UKA's commitment to advancing its wind and solar projects, with the first systems slated for purchase within the current year. If fully realized, the new framework has the potential to add sufficient capacity to generate power for approximately 80,000 three-person households, according to company estimates.

UKA currently boasts an wind project pipeline of approximately 1.8 GW in the approval process within Germany. This recent agreement with Nordex represents the second extension of their collaboration, following a prior extension in 2022.

The move aligns with UKA's strategic objectives to expand its renewable energy portfolio, tapping into Nordex's expertise in wind turbine technology. The partnership aims to contribute significantly to Germany's renewable energy landscape, supporting the nation's goals for sustainable power generation.
