The produced electricity is intended for sale to the wholesale market or for use within H2PLT's network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The company holds 80 hectares (197.7 acres) of land at El Pedernoso, where it plans to install 14 hydrogen mini-generation modules, aiming to establish a 40-megawatt generation facility capable of producing up to 2.5 tonnes of hydrogen per day.

H2PLT outlined its broader ambition to secure EUR 85 million in over the next five years, intending to expand production capacity across Spain.
