Japan-based classification society, ClassNK, has granted approval in principle (AiP) for a conversion plan of a medium-sized self-elevating platform (SEP) vessel. The vessel will be used for the installation of large wind turbine generators (WTGs) on a semi-sub floater in port, jointly developed by TOA Corporation (TOA), NIHON SHIPYARD CO., LTD (NSY), and Japan Marine
