Renewable energy company Enercon has announced that Udo Bauer will take over as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Jürgen Zeschky effective January 1, 2024. Bauer, currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Enercon, will step into the CEO role, bringing with him a wealth of experience within the organization.
Simultaneously, Heiko Juritz is slated to succeed Bauer in his current role as Chief Operations Officer. The leadership transition is part of a strategic move to maintain continuity within the company and align leadership with Enercon's goals.
Heiko Janssen, Chairman of the board of the Aloys Wobben Foundation, the entity that owns Enercon, emphasized the importance of this change in the chief executive position.
