Spain's Gonvarri Solar Steel announced on Thursday that it has entered into an agreement to provide 400 MW of its solar trackers for two solar photovoltaic projects in Peru. The order includes the delivery of 5,400 of Solar Steel's TracSmarT+ 1V solar trackers, both single-row and dual-row variants, to be deployed at solar sites near the provinces of Islay and Chiclayo.
Renowned for their efficiency and ability to optimize solar energy production, the TracSmarT+ 1V solar trackers are deemed suitable for large-scale projects of this nature, according to Solar Steel.
Despite the substantial contract, specific details about the projects and the client involved in this agreement remain undisclosed.
Gonvarri Solar Steel, a manufacturer specializing in solar trackers and fixed structures, highlights its presence in the Peruvian market since 2012, with cumulative supplies reaching 500 MW.
